Acclaimed choreographer John Jasperse returns to Topaz Arts for an open rehearsal of his current work in development, Remains.

Remains is about our connections to the world that we live in.  Remains looks at legacy as the energy that we put out into the world—what we build energetically in our environment through our actions and what we leave behind in our wake.  After showing some movement sequences, Jasperse will engage the audience in a discussion about the work-in-progress and these ideas.

John Jasperse is a dance artist who lives and works in New York City.  John is happy to be back at Topaz showing work that is fresh out of the oven, as well as ideas that have yet to fully come together.  Joining Jasperse are dancers Maggie Cloud, Burr Johnson and Stuart Singer.
