TOPAZ ARTS Choreography Residency Program
TOPAZ ARTS offersa residency program for choreographers made possible by the New York State DanceForce with support from the New York State Council on the Arts. Each choreographer is awarded with rehearsal space along with professional development, technical support and showing opportunities.
Resident artists in 2009-10 include Molissa Fenley,
Tom Pearson/Zach Morris of Third Rail Projects, and choreographer Colleen Hooper.

TOPAZ ARTS and the Queens Museum of Art announce an open call for Dance in Queens: Solo Flight – a special dance residency and performance series featuring solo work. Presented as an off-site event during the Queens Museum of Art's expansion, Dance in Queens 2010 will take place at the TOPAZ ARTS Space in Woodside, Queens. This year, the 8th annual contemporary dance residency program focuses on the solo form, offering choreographers concentrated time and a private space to develop new work.
