About the Artists:

Tsai-Hsi Hung from Taipei, Taiwan, graduated from the Taipei National University of the Arts. in 2009, and traveled to Australia as an exchange student for the Dept. of Dance at Queensland Technology U. She has worked with the Australian Dance Theater, Tasdance, and Chunky Move Dance Company, and appeared on Australia’s TV show “So You Think You Can Dance.”

Tsai Hsi Hung developed Cross Move in collaboration with Guanglei Hui to present work with a very unique process, investigating the motion in the strokes of a painting. The movement, or lack of movement, brings about a sense of serenity, using music collaboration and dancers as instruments.

Dylan Crossman grew up under the mediterranean sun and received his Bachelor’s degree from the Laban Centre (UK). He moved to New York 10 years ago and has worked with various choreographers including Brian Brooks, Wally Cardona, Sean Cúrran, Ellen Cornfield and Julia Gleich. Dylan is a founding member of Peter Kyle Dance. He joined the Merce Cunningham Dance Company in 2009 and was a part of the company’s final tour. Now freelance, Dylan works with Pam Tanowitz, Kimberly Bartosik, Sally Silvers, Ryan McNamara. He is a faculty member for the Cunningham Trust and a NYLA associate artist. (dylancrossman.org)
