TOPAZ ARTS is pleased to present a new series Choreographers in the Studio featuring dance artists in a showing of works-in-progress. Current artist-in-residence Gabe Masson – dance artist, choreographer, performer, presents new solo material on Sat, March 26th at 4pm.

Expanding the parameters of performance through collaborations across various media, including video, design, experimental lighting, sound scores and text, Gabriel Masson Dance is dedicated to a project-based format, researching and creating original work that develops organically through the relationships of the collaborators. Abstract in form yet deeply human in nature, the work inhabits a special place where invested physicality meets its emotional counterpart, authenticity. Critically acclaimed for the range and depth of his artistic output, Masson has built a body of work that continues to expand the boundaries of performance art in an attempt to redefine both the proscenium space and the relationship of audience and performer.
